What weather conditions make flying the DJI Mavic 4 Pro dangerous, and why should they be avoided: The DJI Mavic 4 Pro is not designed to operate in all weather conditions. Among the most dangerous are rain, snow, strong wind, thick fog, and extreme temperatures, as they directly affect both the drone's performance and its structural integrity. These factors can cause motor failure, loss of visibility, sensor interference, or even complete loss of control during flight.

Rain, even light, poses an immediate risk because the drone is not waterproof. Water can infiltrate the motors, internal electronics, or the camera system, causing short circuits or irreversible damage. Snow poses the same risk, but it can also adhere to the rotors and affect their balance, causing the drone to fly unevenly or crash.

Strong winds, especially those above 10 m/s, test the Mavic 4 Pro's stabilization limits. Although the drone has powerful motors and sensors, very strong winds can prevent it from maintaining its position, deviate its trajectory, or prevent it from returning to its home point. They also reduce range by putting greater strain on the motors, draining the battery more quickly.

Extreme temperatures (below 0°C or above 40°C) negatively affect the performance of the intelligent battery, reducing its capacity or causing unexpected shutdowns. Additionally, the positioning sensors and gyroscope can fail in very cold or hot conditions. Therefore, always check the weather forecast before flying and postpone the flight if adverse conditions are anticipated, always prioritizing the safety of the equipment and the environment.
